Meeting for worship

Eccles meeting houseEccles Meeting for Worship is held at 10:45 am every Sunday and there is a children's and teenagers' meeting at the same time.

Meeting for worship begins when the first person enters the meeting room. It ends when two elders shake hands. The meeting usually lasts an hour, after which the clerk reads notices.

Quakers worship in silence, and people speak if moved to do so. Anyone may speak, even if it's their first meeting. There is no clergy and people sit facing the centre of the room, rather than the front.

Eccles Meeting House has disabled access throughout and a hearing loop.
