Business Manager role

You may have heard that we are looking for a new Business Manager – I would be grateful if you would make sure F/friends are aware of this. The application form is available on our website:

We are looking for an experienced manager with the skills to lead a team, who can deliver improvements to processes while maintaining staff morale. We can offer a friendly and supportive work environment where co-operation and team work are genuinely valued, plus an opportunity to contribute to a greater social good.

The Business Manager reports to the Executive Officer and is responsible for:

  • managing and leading the Office Team, who are responsible for all aspects of the booking and planning of client events
  • managing and leading the Hospitality Team, who are responsible for the set-up and practical running of client events
  • supporting the development of the business and marketing strategy

The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) and permanent, subject to successful completion of the 6 month probationary period. The full job description and person specification is on the website.

The starting salary for the Business Manager is £24,214, which will rise to £24,907 on 01.04.2020. We also offer a good benefits package – again more details are available on the website.
